Keitä olemme
Miuradio on pieni animaatiostudio Etelä-Karjalassa, ja se vastaa myös tietojen käsittelystä. Teemme lyhyitä videoita tosista tarinoista pieniltä paikkakunnilta ja julkaisemme ne omilla kanavillamme. Yhteys: [email protected].
Mitä tietoja keräämme
- Ideat, toiveet, muistot ja vastaukset. Kun lähetät jotain kyläsivulla, miuradio.comissa tai sarjan sivulla miu.fm:ssä, tallennamme kirjoittamasi tekstin, paikan jos mainitset sen, ajan, valintasi siitä, mikä kuvaa sinua parhaiten (esimerkiksi kyläläinen tai mökkiläinen), ja maan, josta yhteytesi tulee. Emme kysy nimeäsi. Voimme näyttää lähettämiäsi toiveita ja muistoja esimerkkeinä sivuillamme ja kanavillamme, ilman nimeä. Pyydä, niin poistamme ne.
- Yhteytesi osoite minuutin ajan. Käytämme IP-osoitettasi minuutin estääksemme roskalähetykset. Sen jälkeen se poistuu.
- Sähköpostiosoite, jos tilaat uudet tarinat. Tallennamme osoitteesi ja valitsemasi alueet, esimerkiksi oman kylän tai koko Savon. Lähetämme ensin vahvistuslinkin, ja jokaisessa viestissä on linkki tilauksen perumiseen.
- Sähköpostiosoite, jos liityt sovelluksen odotuslistalle. Tallennamme vain osoitteen, ja kerromme sillä yhden kerran, kun Miuradio-sovellus on ladattavissa.
- Facebook-kommentit muistoina. Voimme lainata kyläsivulla julkisia kommentteja, jotka on kirjoitettu omien videoidemme alle. Lainaamme ne ilman nimeä ja linkitämme alkuperäiseen kommenttiin. Pyydä, niin poistamme lainauksen.
- Käyntimäärät. Laskemme sivujen käynnit ja siirtymät kanavillemme päiväkohtaisina summina, myös sen, mistä palvelusta käynti tuli. Emme käytä tähän evästeitä emmekä tunnista sinua.
- Tekniset lokit. Palvelun suojaamiseksi kirjaamme pyynnöistä teknisiä tietoja: pyydetyn sivun, ajan, selaimen tunnisteen, maan, verkon ja IP-osoitteen alkuosan, emme koko osoitetta. Niistä näemme automaattisen kopioinnin ja ylikuormituksen.
- Valinnat omassa selaimessasi. Sydämet, seuratut toiveet, kieli ja valintasi siitä, mikä kuvaa sinua, tallentuvat vain omaan selaimeesi. Ne eivät ole evästeitä, ja voit poistaa ne selaimen asetuksista.
Emme näytä mainoksia, emme käytä mainosevästeitä emmekä koskaan myy tietojasi.
Miuradio-sovellus
Sovelluksessa ei ole tiliä, mainoksia eikä seurantaa.
- Katselukerrat. Kun video on toistunut 3 sekuntia tai loppuun, tai painat Tykkää tai Jaa, sovellus lähettää palvelimellemme videon tunnisteen, tapahtuman ja päivän. Mitään sinusta tai puhelimestasi ei lähetetä.
- Viestit. Kun lähetät toiveen, muiston tai korjauksen, saamme kirjoittamasi tekstin ja paikan, jos annat sen. Käytämme niitä tarinoiden tekemiseen, kuten sivuilta lähetettyjä.
- Sijainti. Jos sallit sen, sovellus käyttää likimääräistä sijaintiasi (noin kilometrin tarkkuudella) puhelimessa löytääkseen kuntasi ja tiematkan kohdan. Sijaintia ei lähetetä meille, paitsi kun painat Näen revontulia: silloin lähtee paikka noin 10 kilometrin tarkkuudella, ja muut näkevät kartalla kuuden tunnin ajan, että siellä on nähty revontulia. Mitään muuta sinusta ei lähetetä.
- Taivas. Sää, pilvet ja revontulten todennäköisyys haetaan palvelimeltamme, joka hakee ne Ilmatieteen laitokselta, NOAA:lta ja GFZ:ltä. Todennäköisyys lasketaan puhelimessa.
- Puhelimeesi tallentuvat asetukset, katsotut tarinat, oma lista ja oma kylä. Ne eivät lähde puhelimesta.
- Ilmoitukset ajastetaan puhelimessa. Meille ei lähetetä mitään.
- Kartan kuvat tulevat karttapalvelusta, ja videot ja tilastot palvelimiltamme. Nämä palvelut näkevät puhelimesi IP-osoitteen tavalliseen tapaan.
Mitä julkaisemme
Julkaisemme toiveet, vastaukset ja muistot ilman nimeä, kun olemme lukeneet ne. Niiden vieressä näkyy vain se, mikä kuvaa kirjoittajaa, ja milloin se on kirjoitettu. Tekstisi on omasi. Lähettämällä sen annat Miuradiolle luvan julkaista sen sivuillamme ja käyttää sitä tarinoissamme. Pyydä, niin poistamme sen.
Miksi käsittelemme tietoja
Sähköpostiosoitetta käsittelemme suostumuksesi perusteella, ja voit perua sen milloin vain. Muuta käsittelyä teemme oikeutetun edun perusteella: valitsemme ja teemme tarinoita, julkaisemme kylän muistoja ja pidämme sivut toiminnassa.
Ketkä käsittelevät tietoja puolestamme
- Palvelintarjoaja ylläpitää sivujamme ja tallentaa lähetetyt tekstit.
- Tekstipalvelu auttaa meitä lukemaan ja tarkistamaan lähetetyt tekstit. Sille menee vain teksti, ei sähköpostiosoitettasi.
- Sähköpostipalvelu lähettää tilatut viestit.
- Sosiaalisen median palvelut julkaisevat videomme omilla kanavillamme.
Osa palveluista toimii EU:n ulkopuolella. Siirrot perustuvat EU:n vakiosopimuslausekkeisiin tai EU:n ja Yhdysvaltojen tietosuojakehykseen.
YouTube
Miuradio käyttää YouTube API Services -palveluja videoiden lataamiseen ja hallintaan omilla YouTube-kanavillaan. Se ei lue eikä tallenna muiden ihmisten YouTube-tietoja. Kun katsot videoitamme YouTubessa, sovelletaan YouTuben käyttöehtoja ja Googlen tietosuojakäytäntöä. Sovelluksellemme Google-tilin kautta annetun pääsyn voi poistaa milloin vain Googlen kolmansien osapuolten käyttöoikeuksien sivulla.
Kuinka kauan säilytämme
Ideat ja toiveet säilytämme niin kauan kuin ne auttavat valitsemaan tarinoita. Julkaistut toiveet, vastaukset ja muistot pysyvät, kunnes pyydät poistamaan ne. Sähköpostiosoitteen poistamme, kun perut tilauksen. Odotuslistan osoitteen poistamme, kun olemme kertoneet sovelluksesta, tai heti kun pyydät. Käyntimäärät säilytämme 90 päivää, tekniset lokit kolme kuukautta ja IP-osoitteen minuutin.
Oikeutesi
Tietosuoja-asetuksen mukaan voit pyytää nähdä, korjata tai poistaa sinua koskevat tiedot kirjoittamalla osoitteeseen [email protected]. Voit myös vastustaa käsittelyä tai tehdä valituksen tietosuojavaltuutetulle: tietosuoja.fi.

Who we are
Miuradio is a small animation studio in South Karelia, Finland, which is also responsible for the data. It makes short films about true stories from small places and publishes them on its own channels. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Ideas, wishes, memories and replies. When you send something on a village page, on miuradio.com or on a series page at miu.fm, we keep what you write, the place if you name one, the time, your choice of what describes you best (for example a local or a cottager), and the country your connection comes from. We do not ask for your name. We may show the wishes and memories you send as examples on our pages and channels, without a name. Ask and we remove them.
- Your connection's address for a minute. We use your IP address for one minute to stop spam. Then it is gone.
- Your email address, if you subscribe to new stories. We keep your address and the areas you choose, such as your village or all of Savo. We send a confirmation link first, and every message has a link to unsubscribe.
- Your email address, if you join the app's waiting list. We keep only the address, and use it once, to tell you when the Miuradio app is ready to download.
- Facebook comments as memories. We may quote public comments written under our own videos as memories on a village page, without a name and with a link to the original comment. Ask and we remove the quote.
- Visit counts. We count visits to our pages and clicks to our channels as daily totals, including which service a visit came from. We do not use cookies for this and we do not identify you.
- Technical logs. To protect the service we log technical details of requests: the page asked for, the time, the browser's identifier, the country, the network and the first part of the IP address, not the whole address. They show us automated copying and overload.
- Choices kept in your own browser. Hearts, followed wishes, your language and your choice of what describes you stay only in your own browser. They are not cookies, and you can clear them in your browser's settings.
We do not show advertising, we do not use advertising cookies, and we never sell data about you.
The Miuradio app
The app has no account, no advertising and no tracking.
- Views. When a video has played for 3 seconds or to its end, or you tap Like or Share, the app sends our server the video's identifier, the event and the day. Nothing about you or your phone is sent.
- Messages. When you send a wish, a memory or a correction, we receive the text you write and the place if you give one. We use them to make stories, as we do with those sent from our pages.
- Location. If you allow it, the app uses your approximate location (to about a kilometre) on the phone to find your municipality and the point of a road trip. Your location is not sent to us, except when you tap Näen revontulia (I see the aurora): then a place to about 10 kilometres is sent, and others see on the map for six hours that the aurora was seen there. Nothing else about you is sent.
- Sky. The weather, the clouds and the chance of aurora come from our server, which fetches them from the Finnish Meteorological Institute, NOAA and GFZ. The chance is worked out on the phone.
- Kept on your phone: your settings, the stories you have watched, your list and your home village. They do not leave the phone.
- Notifications are scheduled on the phone. Nothing is sent to us.
- Map images come from a map service, and the videos and counts from our servers. These services see your phone's IP address, as any service does.
What we publish
We publish wishes, replies and memories without a name once we have read them. Next to them shows only what describes the writer and when it was written. Your text stays yours. By sending it you allow Miuradio to publish it on our pages and use it in our stories. Ask and we remove it.
Why we process data
We process your email address with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Everything else rests on legitimate interest: choosing and making stories, publishing a village's memories and keeping the pages running.
Who processes data for us
- A hosting provider hosts our pages and stores what you send.
- A text service helps us read and check what you send. It receives only the text, never your email address.
- An email service sends the messages you subscribe to.
- Social media services publish our videos on our own channels.
Some of these services work outside the EU. Transfers rest on the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
YouTube
Miuradio uses YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on Miuradio's own YouTube channels. It does not read or store any other person's YouTube data. When you watch our videos on YouTube, YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy apply. Access given to our app through a Google account can be removed at any time on Google's third-party access page.
How long we keep it
Ideas and wishes are kept while they help us choose stories. Published wishes, replies and memories stay until you ask us to remove them. Your email address is deleted when you unsubscribe. A waiting-list address is deleted once we have told you about the app, or as soon as you ask. Visit counts are kept for 90 days, technical logs for three months, and your IP address for one minute.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete data about you by writing to [email protected]. You can also object to the processing or complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland at tietosuoja.fi.
